Hi!  Welcome to my classroom webpage!  My name is Beth Comstock and I am a first grade teacher at Woodland Elementary.  This year will be 16 years in education for me!  I taught here years ago as a long term substitute teacher mainly in the K and 1st grade levels.  I then worked at Prairie Farm Schools and taught first grade for eleven years and two years of multiage (K/1st and 1st /2nd) in a looping situation.  I love kids and teaching and I am happy to be teaching here in Barron!  I graduated from St. Norbert College in DePere, WI, (close to Green Bay on the east side of the state) with a degree in Elementary/Early Childhood Education.  Later on, I went back to college at UW-Stout for an add-on certification in Early Childhood Special Education.  Recently, I completed my Masters degree in Education from UW-Stout.  I am excited for collaboration and learning opportunities that the Barron Area School District can provide.  I am looking forward to a great year!
