Hello! My name is Jennifer Clemens, and I am so happy to be back in a high school classroom teaching English; it has only taken thirty years to get to my dream job. I have taught language arts and done administrative work for the last thirty years in both Wisconsin and Iowa with a majority of that time right here in good, old Barron, Wisconsin. It has been an honor to work with the best of people at Riverview, at Woodland, and now at BHS. 

I am teaching Advanced Placement Literature and Composition, Advanced Placement Composition and Rhetoric, and English 11. As a student teacher in 1992, it was my dream to teach advanced placement classes, and here I am. To be fair, I love my English 11 classes just as much! Great kids + education/communication skills = happy days for me!

In my free time, I love cross-country skiing, fishing, and foraging for mushrooms and berries. My husband Tom, my white lab Kenai, and my black lab Juneau are my happy side-kicks. They make life infinitely happier.
