The Barron Area School District Board of Education approved sending to voters a 3-year step recurring referendum on April 6, 2010 to offset part of large deficits the school will be facing over the coming three years. The referendum, if passed, would not cover the entire deficit, but reduce the number of cuts needed to balance the budget.
