Summer school is an optional program for the students of the Barron Area School District. An extensive summer school curriculum is offered to students. Students enroll in summer school for a variety of reasons:
A chance to explore personal topics of interest
Acquiring required academic credits for graduation
Learning a new skill
Teacher recommendation for remedial help
Session 1 ~ June 13-24
July Swimming ~ July 5-8 & 11-14
Session 2 ~ August 8-19
Summer Swimming Program
To better serve our students we will offer swimming lessons for two weeks in June, July, and August. We believe that swimming is a vital skill that all children should know and we will provide an opportunity for children to develop strong swimming skills and learn about water safety.

Enrolling Students PK-4th Grade
Families and students new to the district may register for school by contacting the Woodland Elementary School at 715-537-5621. You do not need an appointment to register.
Helpful documents to bring with to your registration:
* address of previous school
* health and immunization records
* birth certificate
