Hello~ I am Amy Beckendorf, the counselor at Riverview Middle School. I've been a part of the Barron Area School District for the past 26 years. Before moving to Riverview I taught in grades 1, 2, and 4 at Woodland Elementary School. 

I grew up in Barron and graduated from Barron High School. I then went on to earn my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Luther College. I taught one year of Kindergarten in Superior, WI before moving back to Barron. I earned my Master's Degree in School Counseling from Concordia University Wisconsin. 

My husband, Aaron, also works at Riverview. He teaches Physical Education. We both enjoy spending time with our sons when their schedules allow. When I can find some quiet time, I enjoy reading and gardening. I also enjoy golfing with my husband and sons- but I don't keep score.
