Financial Aid:
FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid): every student is encouraged to fill out this free application and submit to all post-secondary schools of interest. It will require tax information and it cannot be completed until after January 1st. We recommend you complete the application by March 1st.
*FAFSA is the only official website for filling out the student aid application.
Scholarships:
Many colleges and universities have automatic scholarships awarded to qualified applicants based on GPA and ACT/SAT scores. In most cases, to be eligible for such scholarships, students must complete admissions applications by the school’s due date (can be as early as October 1st).
ACT Testing Informaion:
The ACT® test assesses high school students' general educational development and their ability to complete college-level work.
- The multiple-choice tests cover four skill areas: English, Math, Reading, and Science.
- The Writing Test, which is optional, measures skill in planning and writing a short essay.
