BAMS: Barron Area Montessori School

We offer a Preschool and Elementary program serving children from 3 years old to 3rd grade. The Montessori classroom is set up to allow children to be independent and learn at their own pace. This style of education includes multi-age groupings that foster peer learning, uninterrupted blocks of work time, and a guided choice of activity.

Children’s House: Ages 3-6

A cheerful, respectful environment focusing on practical life skills, beautiful materials to foster language and math understanding, and learning self regulation.

Elementary 1 (E1):Grades 1-3

A busy hive of activity as students work individually and collaboratively to explore a range of subjects and ideas.

Starting the Fall of 2019 BAMS will be located in the Almena Elementary School.
