My name is Chad Buss and this is my 16th year as a special education teacher in the Barron Area School District. I graduated from Abbotsford High School, attained a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and attained my Master's Degree in Administration from University of Wisconsin-River Falls and University of St. Thomas.
My first ten years were spent as a special education teacher at Woodland Elementary School. This is my sixth year as a special education teacher at Barron High School.
I specialize in teaching students with educational disabilities in co-taught inclusive English classes in grades 9-12. The goal in an inclusive classroom is to provide access to general education curriculum to all students. I provide differentiated instruction and accommodations that allow students to be successful in this classroom environment. I believe this provides all students equal opportunity to learn and reach their full potential.
I will also be coaching 5th and 6th grade football this fall. Practice will run Tuesday's and Thursday's through October 18 from 3:30 to 5:15 at the Riverview practice field.
